Prince Vaseline are a duo from Brighton. They write hypnotic and ethereal songs with a moog rogue, guitar and a drum machine. Their forthcoming EP “The World of Leaf Moon” comes out on 24th November 2017 on Love Thy Neighbour via Republic of Music 8” vinyl limited to a mere 25 copies.

Recorded in sessions prior to and during their spring UK & France tour with TOY, ‘The World of Leaf Moon’ explores the band new sound following a change from four members to two, with founding members Max Erle and Snowy Mountain merging their influences to develop a sound that conjures images from a semi-conscious sleep. Snowy and Max’s synth/baritone vocal partnership gels like one of Pulp’s His ‘n’ Hers classics, with occasional gestures made towards the pastoral diaphanous and carefully plucked tones of the Incredible String Band and Fairport Convention, while channelling the atmosphere of Dirty Beaches, John Maus & Broadcast.
